MoMa Memories

I was lucky enough (or not fortunate enough) to  have 1 hour to literally race around MoMa in New York last year. It is such a magnificent gallery. Not only for the art it holds which actually made my heart skip a beat, but also for its beautiful expansive spaces, mezzanines and secret messages tied to wishing trees. I can't wait to return so I can give that building and art the attention it deserves!

I have been obsessed and in love with the work of Frank Lloyd Wright since before I even understood that it would lead to a greater love and obsession of Mid Century design and architecture in all its forms. Seeing the Guggeheim for the first time on a perfect New York day was a dream come true.

Rushing through New York last September I noticed certain colours repeat themselves across the city. 

I love the combination of petrol blues and olive greens against warm russets and neutral tones.
