I was lucky enough (or not fortunate enough) to have 1 hour to literally race around MoMa in New York last year. It is such a magnificent gallery. Not only for the art it holds which actually made my heart skip a beat, but also for its beautiful expansive spaces, mezzanines and secret messages tied to wishing trees. I can't wait to return so I can give that building and art the attention it deserves!

Coffee Time
I don't want to talk about Melbourne's famous coffee culture, or artisan roasted beans, or hidden cafes in secret laneways. It tends to complicate the simple pleasure of sitting down for a short while to enjoy a coffee - whichever way you like it. My favourite is a Long Macchiato and I drink one every day...
PS I took this at Federal Coffee Palace at Melbourne's GPO on a cold Saturday morning.

Winter Warmer
The very first shot with my newly acquired Nikon FM2 and 50mm lens. I love this camera! I'm excited about getting back to basics and hopefully learn more in the process. I think the fact that its a film camera and completely manual will force me to stop and consider a what I'm doing as I seem to get constantly flustered by the functions on my DSLR.
PS I took this at the Auction Rooms in North Melbourne. So if you feel like fabulous breakfast of Felafel Eggs in a distinct Six Degrees space it won't fail to disappoint!
